Lisa Marie of
"Kaua`i: an Inside View"
Lisa Marie has a B.A. in Psychology and graduated Cum Laude. She then got her M.A. in Professional Counseling focusing on marriage and family therapy with an emphasis on cultural and ethnic diversity.
Lisa Marie has been connected to Kauai since 1984. Most of her knowledge came from listening to the elders of the island and from being immersed in the local culture. For three years she volunteered for a Not-For-Profit organization based in Kokee State park and her responsiblities included maintaining hiking trails, conserving native plants, teaching about the plants, as well as helping to forge new trails.
Since 2003 Lisa Marie has been a volunteer at NA Aina Kai, a 240 acre botanical garden . Here she was trained by the horticulturist and expanded her knowledge of local flora and fauna.
Lisa Marie is an Intuitive Reiki Master with a vast knowledge of crystals and uses them in varying energetic healing modalities. She is continuing studies under a Native American elder. Under her teacher's tutelage she has learned indigenous healing, ceremonial practices, met Kahunas and much more.
With her vast knowledge and passion for nature and the rich history of Kauai’s lore she has founded and launched this exciting adventure called “Kauai: An Inside View.”

Kaua`i: An Inside View
Tours will be customized according to your personal desires, needs and mobility. Would you like to focus on sandy beaches, waterfalls, sacred and healing places, hiking through lush tropical rainforests, visiting the treasured sites of Kauai or a specialized combination? You can simply enjoy the wonders of this magical isle or have your tour include indigenous ceremonial sacred rituals. Would you like to experience Kauai by getting down and dirty? Or from the comfort an air-conditioned vehicle? Either way we can give you a memorable, intimate “Kauai: An Inside View” experience.
Half-day Tours are approx. four hours.
Full-day Tours are approx. eight hours.
Depending on the type of tour you choose you may need to bring: Bathing suit, Backpack, Beach towels, Sunglasses, Hiking boots, Sunblock, Water Shoes, Hats, Rain Jacket, Enthusiasm, Change of clothes and Bag Lunch

Cancellation Policy: To hold your reservation we require a credit card—your card will not be charged. This is to secure your reservation and you may choose a different method of payment when you come—check, cash or travelers checks. 48 hour notice is required to cancel. Failure to do so will result in your card being charged 30% of the tour cost.
For groups of 2 or more:
approximately 4 hour tour: $150 per person
approximately 8 hour tour: $250 per person
