Intuitive
Reiki Classes
Reiki is an ancient healing art, used by both Sananda and Buddha, which channels universal life energy through
the hands into the body of the receiver. This universal energy belongs to
all no matter their life situation or background. Reiki can be learned
and used for self-healing, others, distance healing, plants, animals, mother
earth, manifestation and more.
Taught by Katherine Russell, Reiki Master Teacher. Katherine was trained in the
Usui method but, has gone on to include what she has learned from further study,
working directly among the people and being open to receive from Spirit--i.e.
Intuitive Reiki. Intent, dedication and compassion are the keys to this
work.
Intuitive Reiki gives you a solid
foundation in energetic healing and allows you to add to it your individual
passions such as sound, movement, crystals, shamanic practices etc. to indeed
create a healing approach that is yours. Intuitive Reiki is also about flow.
It is able to change for the individual client and for the different energies
coming into these new times. If you can hold compassion and love in your heart
then you can definitely run the Reiki healing energy.
Introduction
to Intuitive Reiki
This is to give you a better understanding of what
Intuitive Reiki is and how it is different from traditional Reiki. This is
also to help you understand how Intuitive Reiki can help you in your life and
how you can use it to assist others.
Intuitive Reiki
Levels I & II Class
Level I gives you the history of
Reiki and of Intuitive Reiki. You will also learn how to prepare yourself,
your surroundings and your client. You will learn all the basic "how-tos"
of Intuitive Reiki. In level II you will start learning some of the
powerful symbols of Reiki and how to use them. You will also learn how to
perform "distance healing." At the end of each level you will receive
attunements.
Intuitive Reiki Masters Class
For many, Levels I and II may be all they need. But, for those who feel
called to go further, there is the Masters class, Level III. The third
degree further increases your ability to channel healing energy. It
includes two more major symbols--and a new one for the eyes gifted to us early
in 2002 by Athena. It also teaches you the method of passing-on
attunements, and most importantly how to teach Reiki. Now all Reiki
teachers are Masters but, not all Reiki Masters are teachers. You will
know if you have the calling to teach. Whether you choose to teach or not,
it is still important that you have the information on how to teach and to pass
on attunements.
Personal note--
When I first became a Reiki Master, I believed that there would be no way
that I would ever stand in front of people and teach. Within two years I
found myself teaching Intuitive Reiki. After further study, working
among the people and working with those students new to Reiki I and II, I became
aware of how much more information and freedom could be taught. I never
understood why so much seemed to be held-back. Reiki is universal love and
we, along with this dear Earth, need it now as completely and as much as
possible. As a teacher, it is my job to teach how not to need me. As
a student it is your job to be open to the possibilities.
One of the greatest things that the Masters degree has brought me, besides
further information and the ability to teach, is the passing of attunements.
There are those times when I am working with someone who is very ill and I can't
be there as much as is needed. In those times I pass on the first degree
attunement to either the client or a careperson. It only takes a few
minutes to show them how to use their hands, get permission from the person and
to pass-on the first degree attunement. This empowers the person to help
themselves or to help their loved-one.
